LE MOULIN
Small paradise of nature and calm with swimming pool in Pradelle offering several types of accommodation.
The site is wonderful. A paradise of nature and quietness! You are in the heart of the Roanne valley, in the pretty village of Pradelle (26 inhabitants) near Roanne and one of its tributaries; Gervanne, wilder and less crowded as you go up by a pleasant path to find great swimming delightful and isolated sites. Le Moulin offers several types of accommodation: 15 locations with pool, a cottage for 4/5 people and three guest houses. For lovers of nature, hiking, white and clear water, of flora and fauna... The plus: an accommodation labelled Ecotourisme en France.

Bad are the toilet and shower facilities. Not enough showers and toilets and only clean in the morning. You are expected to go there barefoot. Obviously, you don't want to do that if too dirty. The water is not always warm. And there is no place to do your laundry by hand.
There is a severe bad smell every afternoon. So better bring scented candles, incense or something. Also, there is no place to bring your garbage at the camping. You have to go to Pradelle with it, too far with a heavy garbage bag, bottles and paper. And don't forget to bring your own toillet paper! Also, you have to hold it yourself, because you can not hang it somewhere.
The swimmingpool is nice, unfortunately, bring your own chair. There is only one chair there.
You are not welcomed in a friendly way. It is hard to have social interaction with the staff. They act ignorant all the time. Interaction is only on necessary base, never friendly.
The "petit snack" restaurant, has good pizza. The way it is served is really unprofessional (e.g. fingers on top of your glass , no eye contact). Only the prices are professional.
There is bread, only a couple of days a week and only in the afternoon. There is a small shop 10 minutes driving and a supermarket 40/45 minutes driving.
This camping is too expensive with all these drawbacks.
