Situated at the foot of the ruins of the medieval château de Rochechinard, in the former 18th-century presbytery, this small museum has been in existence since 1979, restoring the memory of the Royans region through over 2,000 everyday objects, including traditional clothing, kitchen utensils and farming tools. Reconstruction of a 19th-century home (bedroom, silkworm nursery, kitchen, etc.). A look back at the harsh, self-sufficient living conditions of the inhabitants of this long isolated region. This cultural and historical site and art center hosts an annual exhibition and numerous events.
