DANCING ROCKS
About fifty blocks of a very hard sandstone, placed in the middle of a wooded hill of chestnut trees and oaks.
Located 1.5 km south of Saint-Barthélemy, it is a geological curiosity, a legendary site and a pleasant place to walk. About fifty blocks of very hard sandstone are magically placed in the middle of a hillside wooded with chestnut and oak trees, assuming strange postures. Some say that the rocks came out of Gargantua's shoe like small giant gravel. Others say that fairies protect these stones which start to move and dance once a year, on Christmas night... Also ideal for climbing enthusiasts.
