PRIORY-PALACE DELPHINAL
The Delphinal Palace was formerly called the castle-priory.
Formerly called the castle-priory, it was not until the Second World War that it was called the Delphinal Palace. What was originally a defensive castle became a building complex with a cloister, various chapels, meeting rooms, dormitories, a kitchen for canons and the living quarters of the prior and the bishop. Modifications and embellishments were made until the 16th century. Personalities of the time lived there or came to visit the place. Don't hesitate to combine a visit to the church with one to the collegiate church.
