It is the last traditional tabletterie of Royans in activity, dedicated to the manufacture of objects of the table out of wooden. You can watch a wooden spoon being made using a traditional craft technique from this mountainous region. The Tabletterie Desfonds in Saint-Jean-en-Royans has existed since 1924 and keeps the memory of the evolution of the art of the table. We will show you the stages in the manufacture of a table utensil through the creation of a spoon and an exhibition of techniques and materials dating from the 1950s.
