A monastery with books on Orthodoxy, located in the Vercors mountains a few kilometers from Saint-Laurent-en-Royans.

Located in the Vercors mountains a few kilometers from Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, the Orthodox monastery of Saint-Antoine is a dependency of the Simonos Petra monastery on Mount Athos (Greece). It was founded in 1978 by Reverend Father Placide Deseille and his ascetic companion Father Seraphim. You can attend the Divine Liturgy, take part in services, visit the Byzantine-style church of Saint Silouane, with its remarkable icons, or buy a range of books on Orthodoxy.
