Every year, on a Sunday in mid-June, the City organises the Canal Festival around a magnificent, as yet little-known heritage that contributes to the charm of Valencia. On the programme: guided tours and activities in the Châteauvert park, fishing initiations, historical visits, snacks for children, naturalist observations, etc. A day in which the Canals of Valence/Biodiversity along the water, an association for the protection and enhancement of their natural wealth, is actively involved. During the year, other events are scheduled, including the canal cleaning day in September, which mobilises volunteers and a calendar of guided tours.
