The Twinning Committee of the city of Valencia dates back to the 1960s. More than a jubilee of friendship between peoples! This friendship is regularly reactivated by events such as the colourful twin town market set up under the halls, which allows visitors to discover and stock up on regional specialities from the six towns twinned with Valencia: Asti (Italy), Biberach (Germany), Clacton-Tendring (United Kingdom), Idjevan (Armenia), Gedera (Israel) and Batroun (Lebanon). Spaetzles, yalentchi, manakich risotto... there is something for every taste and appetite in the Saint-Jean hall. This market with international flavours is now part of the Valence gastronomy event. In return, a delegation from Valencia goes to some markets in the twin towns to discover the gastronomy of the Drôme: a small chalet at the Christmas market in Biberach, a stand at the truffle market in Asti...
