Valencia also has its contemporary art biennial. Organized by the Valencia Doyen Lions Club and Saint-Péray/Guilherand-Granges in partnership with the City of Valencia, it operates in five places, one outside: the Clercs Hall, the Jeanne de Flandreysy area, the Labor Exchange, the contemporary space and the Jouvet Park. This cultural and artistic event also has a humanitarian vocation as the funds collected are used to finance the construction of bush schools in Senegal. In total, more than 35 contemporary artists, young or younger, are represented in the fields of sculpture, painting, photography and drawing. Their works make up, each time, a landscape of great diversity and richness.
