Established in 1998 in the heart of the Polygone district, the establishment was classified Conservatoire at Radiation Departmental in 2007. Today, a School of Music and Dance has 60 teachers who train and accompany just over 1,100 students! Children and adolescents improve their practice of music and dance at the age of 5 years, and adults can initiate or deepen a musical practice. Classical music or contemporary music, dance, song or instrument, the choice is wide. For example: contemporary music amplified, jazz, ancient music, animated film music (specific to the Valentinois conservatory, normal in the country of Folimage!), voice, accompaniment… Registration at the Conservatory is done on an entrance test for students with some experience. However, the retired candidates can integrate the Musical Training curriculum. Every year in June, the Conservatory organizes open houses that allow the general public to discover its facilities and the disciplines taught.
