Founded in 1952 by a small group of friends, the group was at the origin of the French Caving Federation. The club brings together members practising in various forms: explorations, scientific studies, expeditions, underground tourism, publications? They are mainly continuing to explore the Luire and Choranche (Vercors) cave systems. As a philanthropist, each year the club offers expeditions to a group of children suffering from a skin pigmentation disease that prevents them from evolving without protection in daylight.
