The allotment gardens flourish on the Lautagne plateau with 42 plots of approx. 200 m² (2,305 sq ft), all equipped with a water supply and a garden shed, sheltered from the wind by a tree-lined belt. These adjoin the Jardins du Cœur (integration workshop producing fruit and vegetables delivered to the Restos of the same name), set out over more than one hectare (2.47 acres), as well as the municipal nurseries. In addition to the transformation of a 4 hectare plot of land into gardens, the City has constructed buildings with changing rooms, sanitary facilities and premises for associations. On the land freed up from the Epervière site, the town hall plans to create an eco-neighborhood. Nice recycling! Information from the town hall.
