HÔTEL DE VILLE
It is one of the architectural jewels of old Valencia. The town hall is housed in superb heritage buildings. In its sumptuous entrance hall, you will find the reception and displays with a rich documentation concerning the cultural and sporting activities of the city, administrative procedures, measures for children, family, seniors, etc. You can also look for newspapers published by the municipality's communication department, including the monthly Voir Valence. The city also publishes practical guides for parents, newcomers, people with disabilities or people looking for work, but also on associations, sport, the public and university media library, parks, canals and walking routes. On the City's website you will find a wealth of practical information, information on current works and projects in the city, as well as news sections and a cultural agenda.
Restoration work is underway at City Hall and will take place in several phases until spring 2019. From December 2017 to mid-May 2018, the wedding hall and its furniture were restored. Then, from July to the end of November 2018, the Council room and the Drum room were cleaned and restored. Finally, at the beginning of 2019, the floor of the 1st floor corridor will be renovated. These various works aim to welcome the public in better conditions while preserving the heritage. During the work, the Town Hall remains accessible
