EAU DE VALENCE
Do you know that? Valencia benefits from 100% Valentine's water and public facilities near the boulevards. After more than 40 years of delegation to a private company (Veolia, since 1968), the municipality decided, in 2014, to create a municipal authority ensuring the direct public exploitation of drinking water. Eau de Valence is the new contact for the Valentinians, who have immediately noticed a 5% reduction in the price of drinking water on their bills. Consumed daily by more than 60,000 Valentines, Valencia's water comes from a mixture of 4 underground springs. It is stored in 4 tanks and then distributed by a 292 km network of pipelines.
