ÉCOLE SUPÉRIEURE D'ART ET DESIGN
A regional and national reference! The former Ecole régionale des Beaux-Arts (ERAB), which has become the higher school of art and design Grenoble-Valencia, has been in existence since 1975 and has its unique working conditions and privileged environment on its two sites in Grenoble and Valencia. The ESAD G-V also provides artistic training for all audiences and develops awareness-raising activities in schools. Set at the centre of a network of complementary cultural institutions, the Valencia site guarantees optimal learning and experimentation conditions for the two options proposed: art and graphic design. The suitable premises have a 200-seat amphitheatre, two exhibition rooms, library, technical workshops… Every year, 130 students are admitted to competitions. The school provides national degrees of baccalaureate + 3 level in graphic design and baccalaureate + 5 in plastic arts. Contemporary artistic creation is privileged (theory, practice, research, experimentation, personal work), with constantly evolving pedagogy, especially to new technologies. The school also offers artistic practice workshops for children and adults, and regularly organizes conferences and exhibitions open to all.
