This institute, which depends on the Red Cross, prepares nurses for the State competition, as a direct collaborator of the doctor, able to apply his prescriptions: administration of medicines, infusion, blood tests, taking charge of the well-being and hygiene of patients, monitoring and transmitting the evolution of his condition. A strategic spot if ever there was one! Nurses can work in a hospital centre, a rehabilitation centre, a dispensary, a prevention centre, a retirement home, a home support service, etc. They can also work as self-employed after a minimum of 24 months' experience in care services.
