The Valence-Romans conurbation has thirteen waste collection centres that allow users to dispose of waste not collected door-to-door by the household waste collection service under good conditions. Each one is accessible to all inhabitants of the urban area simply on presentation of proof of residence, free of charge for private individuals, paying for all other users. Valencia itself has two waste disposal sites, one in Valence-le-Haut, Cours Manuel de Falla, the other in Valence-Portes, chemin du Pont des Anglais.
