VIARHÔNA
The cycle route and the greenway run along the Rhone River linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea, with old towpaths.
The ViaRhôna passes through Valence. Linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, this cycle route and greenway runs along the Rhône, sometimes on the right bank, sometimes on the left bank, using, for the most part, the old towpaths. Valence and its neighbouring town of La Voulte are the 13th of 21 stages on this route. From Valence you can reach stage 12 in Tournon-sur-Rhône in 25 km and about 1 hour 45 minutes. Heading south, you reach the next stage at Le Pouzin, 33 km away. The ViaRhôna is open to cyclists, skaters and pedestrians.
