LE MESSAGER
To know everything about local life! The equivalent of the Savoyard Essor but for the Chablais, the Faucigny, and the Genevois. Formerly known as Le Messager Agricole, created in 1897 in Thonon-les-Bains and later Le Messager patriotique, the regional weekly newspaper became simply Le Messager at the Liberation. The newspaper, which came under the umbrella of the Presse-Alpes-Jura group, a subsidiary of the Voix du Nord group, has a circulation of more than 21,000 copies, by subscription and in newsstands; while its website includes the main news from these three Haute-Savoie areas with a focus on Annecy.
