HOTEL DES ALPES
Hotel restaurant with a cosy room and a shady terrace where the chef concocts a refined cuisine with the best flavors.
In this slightly off-centre district, in the direction of the station opposite the Agora, here is the Restaurant des Alpes, the restaurant of the Hôtel des Alpes. Don't be confused if some people still talk about the Réclusière, the old name of the place, but discover this address which, in addition to its colourful facade, has a beautiful interior courtyard with a shaded terrace and a "new" cosy room. At the helm, the chef Joël Charnay creates a refined cuisine with wonderful flavours. We love the choice of products and the successful harmonies, such as the fillets of perch from Lake Geneva, lemon-verbena emulsion, autumnal mille-feuille, home-made chips and green salad. The same goes for the Aubrac beef smoked at the last minute with spices and its strong juice. Desserts with revisited classics and delicious home-made ice creams. Nice wine list.
