FOIRE DE LA SAINT-MARTIN

A fair with a taste of yesteryear where it is good to bargain, stroll around and taste some local specialties on the go.
November 11 is not only the celebration of the Armistice of 1918 in Bonneville. For 750 years, it has also been the Foire de la Saint-Martin. An unmissable event, a real institution whose origins go back to the Middle Ages, to the Charter of Franchise granted by Beatrix de Faucigny in 1290! A fair that was once agricultural, but which has become more diversified over time. A convivial day where the people of the valley meet, while visitors are welcomed with pleasure to make good deals.
