PLATEAU DE SOLAISON
Plateau de Solaison, ideal for family cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and hiking in summer.
Situated at an altitude of 1500 m, it's a year-round destination. In summer, the high mountain pastures are home to the cows that produce the milk for our cheeses, while hikers follow the paths to the Pointe d'Andey or the Leschaux rocks. In winter, it's the ideal playground for cross-country skiing or family outings with snowshoes. There's even a snow line for learning downhill skiing! Gourmets also visit the Plateau de Solaison out of season to savour the famous potato fritters, the unmissable local speciality.
