L’IMPOSSIBLE
An atypical restaurant for Chamonix! In their establishment The Impossible, Donatella and Auro Bucci succeeded in imposing natural Italian cuisine, made up of organic ingredients that respect the seasons. Situated in the south of Chamonix, this old farmhouse dating back to 1754 awaits gourmets in an attractive setting that combines the authenticity of Savoy with the careful friendliness of Italy! Surrounded by beautiful woodwork, the fireplace keeps our attention, typical! Above our heads, the frame and crystal chandeliers finish the decor. The layout of the room and tables allows you to find an intimate corner for lovers. The exact plates are composed by the chefs, Auro Bucci and Takeshi Minagawa. A harmonious harmony of colours and creativity thanks to healthy and organic cuisine at the rhythm of the seasons. The prices are a little high, but the quality is at the meeting and vegetarians or gluten and lactose intolerant will find choices (reported on the map). An inventive and surprising cuisine that combines local produce with spices, Italian flavours and customer respect!

uro is an addict of slow fox trot food: food that follows recipes that you do not find in most restaurants. It sort to do everything using organic ingredients and often sauces have been cooking for several days before being served. All pasts is made in house so here to discover the most wonderful dishes from the Piedmont and Aosta Valley regions such as rabbit ravioli and wild boar pasta.
Recently the couple has left Courmayeur ot sit in The Chamonix where they bought, has a famous restaurant in Chamonix centre that used to Be run by WIm Robberse. they have kept the delightful wooden interiors big open chimney (where they cook meats over the open fire).
Donatella is one of the best hosts we know and her TEAM is very professional. her daughter is not has sommelier but knows its wines and you will discover wonderful French and Italian wines, many of which are organic.
To really include the philosophy of Auro, just watch its web page and you will see that this is a rare breed of chef. I can imagine that the lady who seems to have had has bad experience served one has bad day as they open only a few days before. I heartily recommend it as someone who has eaten in most restaurants in the terrible Alps and this up among the most unique and more traditional.
Donatella is also an excellent owner and if you as for Valentine - the Day as we do every year (driving one hour from Geneva for the) it is always has dressed in red dress and shoes to mark the occasion.
