LE NATIONAL
This institution that has existed for almost a century now was founded in 1912 by Alexandre Simond, a carpenter-guide, who made it a main meeting place for mountaineers. More than 100 years later, you can still relax in the terrace which inaugurates the Doctor Paccard Street, the bar, the warm dining room where you are always served with a smile, etc. Bertrand Coulomb, the owner since 2012 offers brasserie and restaurant services to his guests as from 7:30am. Breakfast is served in the morning, a bistro cuisine with excellent burgers at lunchtime, and brasserie throughout the day: range of duck breast with honey sauce, beef tartare and homemade chips, lamb loin with thyme juice, steaks, prawns, lasagne or noodles, etc. and an excellent fisher man's pot! Pancakes and salads are savoured at any time of the day and the tradition of meeting with friends for a drink after a day of hiking or sliding sport is maintained. Specialities from our mountains like tartiflette, Savoyard escalope, crust, Savoyard fondue, barbecues or raclette, etc. are not left out. Le National adapts to our needs and to our budgets because it offers fast services, a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere at very affordable prices.
