LA FLAMBÉE
We take the same and start again. Just moved from its Argentière nest to the heart of Chamonix, facing the train station, the La Flambée restaurant offers an astonishing - not to say hétéroclite - choice of dishes for all appetites. From the house of Foie gras maison to Italian specialities revisited - the pizzas now turn a sweet turn - passing through the wings wings and home hamburger. We hesitate, is, even pinaille. Above all, it has not yet been possible to see mountain spécialités in cheese - fondue, old or reblochonnade au -, crusts and pélas. Thin, there is also good expensive and a southwest duck conflict and its warm chutney to aux. A good ambiance - admire the garden made of bric and broc and imagined by Valérie, the owner -, good cuisine and without the prices coming to up!

If the decor is fun, it is nonetheless than the atmosphere gives an impression of neglected: the terrace known as flowery needs an urgent maintenance, the carpet in the floor of the dining room has tears as for the toilets, they are clean but more steak on the basin of the TOILETS, water hunting is broken, tap on two does not work with washbasin, cake soap bathes in water, not to mention the muddy in access passage!!!. We hope just that the cuisine doesn't offer the same appearance!!!
The cuisine is original, hearty and good
