LE BISTROT DES SPORTS
A typical address! A little piece of history of "Chamouny" the beautiful. It must be said that the sports bistro is almost like a museum: the bar opened in 1924, on the occasion of the first Olympic Winter Games in the resort, and has not closed its doors since. A bistro that reminds us of the fond memories of Frison-Roche - a time owner of the place in the 1930s. Chamonix regulars particularly appreciate it for its mix of English and Chamonix customers, its good atmosphere and the recurring concerts on Saturday evening. Futé likes the "first of the line" atmosphere of the late 19th century with the ultra old school bar stools, the decoration all in wood and without fuss and its terrace on the street. As for the dishes, the escalope with chanterelles, the forest crust and the raclette will delight lovers of Savoyard cuisine.

A warm and friendly welcome in a real mountain montagnard. Bar with a very good choice of beers and wines at reasonable prices. Restaurant with Savoyard specialities and classics such as Calf's head. To visit.
