ALPINE MUSEUM
Alpine museum recounting the hard and exhilarating lives of the inhabitants of the Chamonix valley, and organizing events and workshops.
Housed in the carefully renovated former Chamonix Palace, the Musée Alpin offers a captivating journey through the difficult and fascinating history of the inhabitants of the Chamonix valley. From the beginnings of expeditions to the "glaciers of Savoy" to the establishment of a winter sports resort, the journey has been a long one, marked by the adaptation of the inhabitants as they made the transition from traditional livestock farming to tourism. During the high season, activities and workshops are offered to delight families and enrich the museum experience.

When the entrance is paid, Ci houses two museums. (museum of minerals).
This museum has a first floor, it is very full.

I recommend it but nothing more, however the exhibition of minerals is really unmissable!
