ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH
This former chapel of the Cordeliers convent built in the 16th century has a monumental stone (15th century) classified as a historical monument. Since 2010, the baroque era Calvary of the church is registered as Historical Monuments. The church was renovated by the architect Maurice Novarina in the early 60's. Born in Thonon-the- Baths in Haute-Savoie, Maurice Novarina participated in the rebuilding of France (East of France and Paris region) after the Second World War, and worked with famous artists like Fernand Léger. There is also an old Saint-Nicolas church, Place Saint-Nicolas, shut down in 1847, it became a private property. Guided tours of the two St. Nicolas churches are organized in July and August, upon registration at the tourist office and the rest of the year, for groups, but only by appointment.
