LE REFUGE
The new owners Djamila and Michaël, since the holidays of Toussaint 2017, have resumed the reins of the restaurant Le Refuge in Cordon. Two passionate people worked in the mouth of the mouth some twenty years ago and a strong friendship began. Each of them has acquired know-how on the surrounding trails and now, depending on the season, offers homemade dishes with local products. A panoramic terrace or an interior room decorated with finesse, in both cases you will be facing the Mont-Blanc chain in its magnificent whole (natural outdoor scenery, found in the last scene of the film Tatie Danielle). Inside the blond wood on the walls, which ties a few stone vaults reminding the tuff and the warm fireplace corner will make you feel soothing, well sheltered as in a mountain refuge. Ten minutes from the center of Cordon towards the ski slopes, access is made by any vehicle on asphalted road until the door outside the snow-covered winter. In this case, either with a fitted vehicle, you can go up to about thirty meters from the hotel, or you'll have skis, snowshoes or hiking. On the map you will find salads, hot inputs, different roasted or mijoed meat, specialties, desserts, all served copily and cooked respectfully.
