END OF LAKE NATURE RESERVE
Reserve home to a wide variety of habitats and animal species, and an educational trail to visit the Beauvivier tower.
The Bout-du-Lac site is the last large wetland area on the shores of Lake Annecy, classified as a nature reserve in 1974 and witness to 20,000 years of environmental evolution. The marsh is home to a wide variety of habitats and animal species, including the emblematic beaver, reintroduced in 1972. An educational trail leads to the reed bed and the Beauvivier medieval tower, now an observatory. Stay on the trails!
