Typically the kind of address that one looks for when going up to the Glières plateau. Installed in an old alpine chalet for 47 years, created by Constance, of course, and her husband, this restaurant is a local institution. It's there, a quarter of an hour's walk from the car park (and that can't do any harm to whet the appetite. For the digestion, plan wider after the siesta...), that one comes to savour in terrace or in spacious rooms, there are three of them, with the cordial decoration, the famous potato fritters, the house terrine, the mushroom crust or the Savoyard cheese specialities (fondue, tartiflette...). Farmhouse cheeses, of course, and home-made pies. Welcome in the friendly spirit of the Glières with the owner, Yves. Possibility to sleep on the spot (see our heading "Lodging")
