There will no longer be Pier Import, a specialist in ethnic decoration, in the Annécienne region. After the closure of the Royal Street in the city centre of Annecy and that of the Epagny area, the nearest is now in Gaillard, next to Annemasse. The award, which has existed since the early 70 s, was acquired in January 2010 by Athmosphères International, a specialist in home decorating. Pier Import now claims products of higher quality and refinement. They are also a bit more expensive than before.
