LA RENAISSANCE
Hidden in a small pedestrian walkway overlooking the main avenue, the Renaissance restaurant-brasserie is located in the heart of Roche sur Foron with a courtyard which serves as a terrace during summer. You can enjoy the view of the Môle. Many entertainments are blended here: the bar, the brasserie and the seminary restaurant. The brasserie is small and welcoming while the restaurant offers more space (a hundred seats) and sobriety with its floral round tables, wooden furniture, paintings and its blue wall lamps. The brasserie menus offer at affordable prices, delicately prepared dishes and homemade desserts - lemon tart covered with meringue, crème brûlée, fruit salad etc. The specialities on the menu offer a diversity of refined dishes. This autumn, it was difficult to choose between crusty filet with thyme lemon and its fried courgette and oyster mushrooms with curry, pavé de bœuf Siementhal aux girolles accompanied by fried potatoes and roasted tomatoes, or pavé de cerf sauce poivrade served with a gratin dauphinois. Other delicacies deelighted our taste buds. A great piece of advice is that you should excercise patience. Note: the restaurant is only open during the week, over the weekend, catering takes over.
