Chestnut is a secluded building in a village at the end of Lake Annecy where calm and tranquillity reign. At the outset, we want to take a head in the swimming pool in a frame where nature is omnipresent. Unless you give up a siesta in the back of a long chair in the shade of the trees in the next next door. 25 comfortable rooms (2-star hotel) open onto the mountain scenery of the lake tower. In a dining room with rustic decoration, in the middle of which a beautiful fireplace, one eats a filet of féra to cream or typical Savoyard dishes (terrine house, ham, tartiflette…) The chestnut cup is not bad either with its brown ice, meringue and hot chocolate. A good address if you like the countryside with the possibility of beautiful hiking nearby.
