ATELIER DU PANTAIS
Brigitte de Provoaux and Jean-Luc Boutibou have chosen ceramics but also watercolor and puppets (with ceramic heads) to express their sensitivity. Their workshop is full of unique pieces: Bowls, vases, glasses, cuttings, flasks and various objects in the Savoyard type, a red soil painted with white, blue, green, yellow… but mostly enameled sandstone according to the Japanese technique of the raku, mastered by Jean-Luc. With forty years of experience in ceramics, ceramics and sandstone, he knows all aspects of this art: cooking at high temperature, color effects, the alliance of shapes and materials. White land is enhanced by yellow, celadic green, tender blue, grind… or red and black with metallic reflection. These two artists, who have been in Haute-Savoie for some twenty years, will surely explain their art with passion. To discover their workshop, once passed the village, take the direction of the hamlet of Banderelle then Cons and, before the concrete arch bridge embracing the Size of Size, a wooden panel with its "open" sign indicates the craft craft workshop.
