LA BOURNERIE
Alpine chalet at the bottom of the slopes offering cozy rooms and à la carte suggestions in the evening.
Nestled at the bottom of the slopes, this alpine chalet built in 1805 has passed through the ages without taking a wrinkle. In winter, the access is ideal for skiers and snowboarders. It is done on skis from the Châtelet piste - pedestrians must take the 170 steps from the piste, above the chairlift parking lot. In good weather, the new large terrace facing the slopes can accommodate a large number of guests and invites you to enjoy the privileged view of the snow-covered or snow-covered mountain pastures. A verandah section protects you in the event of extreme cold. We will come to relax after a hike, or warm up and drink a good chocolate or mulled wine with a homemade dessert. Inside, a few tables near the fireplace are ideal for enjoying a plate of stuffing or hot potatoes at lunchtime, accompanied by raw and cooked hams, walnut salad, reblochon or goat cheese crust, or a gratin of ham crust; while the menu suggestions - in the evening - favour traditional fondues, raclettes, brasérade, etc. In season, reservations are strongly recommended. Especially since five cosy rooms grouped around a living room - with library and wood stove - on the first floor welcome seasonal guests.
