To celebrate the opening of the mountain bike season, the Portes du Soleil domain organizes the last weekend of June the Pass' Portes du Soleil Mountain Bike. The 15 th edition will take place on June 29.30 and July 1, 2018. From nine different stations, between France and Switzerland, including the Gets, the route reveals the most beautiful trails in the area between 1,000 m and 2,450 m above sea level. The 80 km course borrows 15 ski lifts (out of the 24 open in summer) with formulas adapted to the most reckless or more technical for the most efficient. Every year, more than 6,000 vttists find themselves for a sporty weekend as much as user-friendly for a single day per participant: on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, with each of the eight supplies (Aux Gets, Lac des Écoles), a tasting of local products. A material test is also offered on the event show (in Châtel). A new connected discipline, the electric ATV. Since 2016, portions of the course have been specially marked for these with two recharge points. Since 2017, a mobile app has facilitated access to information on various routes, weather, English and French!
