LE DÉLICE
Address like a bistro where to have an aperitif and a restaurant of new cuisine with fresh products.
We enter Le Délice as if in a bistro; the heat is the same, the atmosphere is subdued and the tables waxed too. A pub with a chalet decor! At aperitif time, it gets a little rushed, it talks loud and laughs a lot. Standing on the backlit bar, with a glass of wine in hand, you struggle a little to be understood by the waiter or your New Zealand neighbour who is engaging in conversation. Even the website is in English! And then, at the 8pm, the bar suddenly turns into a comfortable new cuisine restaurant. The regulars give way to groups of friends and young couples who have come to savour the good and rather copious fusion dishes. All cooked on site with fresh produce. Gaspachos, squid and delicatessen plates scroll on the tables. Then come the risotto with peas and lemon, the sirloin steak with green pepper and homemade fries or the gourmet burger with whisky and truffle mayonnaise. The desserts are just as exotic: white chocolate and amaretti cheesecake, chocolate mousse and peanut butter cookies... Moreover, vegans and gluten free are not forgotten!
