MONTROTTIER CASTLE

Built by Jean de Montrottier in the 13th century, this pentagonal fortress, arranged around a cylindrical keep, stands out in the landscape of the Genevois Savoyard countryside. Its Tour des Religieuses on a rocky outcrop is the oldest. The building houses remarkable collections of furniture, earthenware, lace, weapons and oriental objects, some of which can only be viewed on guided tours. Exhibitions, lectures, concerts... The garden can be visited as a playful journey, thanks to an interactive scenography. Children can enjoy a visit in costume.
