AFFINEUR JOSEPH PACCARD
It was in Manigod (his native village), after 18 years of experience in refining, that Joseph Paccard created his own workshop in 1990. The cheese factory is located on the route of Manigod from Thons, after the Villards-Underneath and before the Villards, at 1,000 meters above the small village. In addition to refining the products of small fruit products in the region, Joseph Paccard is part of the Routes network of the Fromages de Savoie. The establishment markets a range of cheese from the region: rebait, tomb, chevrow, abundance, beaufort… for sale online on the website. The affinder Joseph Paccard manufactures high-quality gourmet cheeses of some thirty farmers in the Thons valley. Thanks to such craftsmanship, it is regularly awarded to the General Agricultural Competition (gold medal 2013). Guided tour of the cellars, with a slide show showing the valley of the Aravis and a zoom on the factory, not forgetting a tasting of four to five cheeses accompanied by a wine from Savoie. Convinced by the visit, it is impossible to leave without one of these gustatial masterpieces that bloom good the alpage!
