AUBERGE DE LA CÔTE 2000
Inn with sunny terrace in Megève offering traditional cuisine with local products.
At the foot of the famous slope which has regularly hosted the World Cup events since 1980 - Super giant women's alpine skiing, ski cross in 2010 and women's alpine skiing in 2012, women's moguls skiing in 2018...) -the former Austrian chalet with its typical roof banks - moved to Megève in the 1960s by Alexandre Lamblin, the "poet hotelier" - has become a very popular inn for skiers and hikers. A charming setting! Authentic, of rustic wood whose blows of axes can still be seen on the hand-cut and brushed beams for more luminosity. The rooms are equipped with small tables, covered with tablecloths in red and white tones, back benches covered with woolly skins... A neat décor that invites you to take a seat and enjoy a traditional cuisine made of local products. The hostel, now part of the Mont d'Arbois estate, opens onto a superb sunny terrace from where you can enjoy the spectacle of skiers in full effort. You can enjoy your coffee here! For those in a hurry, the adjoining small mazot offers sandwiches. A quiet meeting at the end of the Megève ski area!
