Located 300 metres from the centre of Megève - a few minutes from the bus station and the Jaillet cable car -, after a closure for a change of ownership and a profound makeover, the former L'Etoile d'Or hotel has become Le Chalet Blanc. A luxury 5-star hotel with a bar, restaurant, massage area and tailor-made services. This chalet hotel has kept its mountain spirit, more chic. Old wood for the structure, aged wood for the interior facings and parquet flooring, but also warm materials such as flannel fabrics and faux fur plaids with soft tones in the bedrooms and living rooms. The decoration takes up the codes of the cosy Austrian chalets, revisited with deer head motifs on the walls and fabrics, but also a more contemporary style and high quality furniture. Bedding is of excellent quality and some rooms or suites have a balcony. As for services, in addition to the friendly welcome, there is a concierge service with valet parking, limousine service, shuttle or taxi service and even helicopter transfer. Breakfasts are gourmet and generous. A luxurious but nevertheless charming chalet hotel with a human dimension with only fifteen rooms and a particularly attentive welcome.
