Ecomuseum dedicated to the traditional life in the Haut Val d'Arly, showing the domestic, social and mountain life of the Mégevands.
A museum in an authentic 19th century farmhouse where old objects and period photos are mixed together. This ecomuseum, dedicated to traditional life in the Haut Val d'Arly, was created in 1987 on the initiative of the doctor and historian Charles Soquet. A true testimony to the domestic, social and mountain life of the Mégevands, this popular museum is not lacking in charm in posh Megève! A staging of collections of objects, furniture and photos; realistic reconstructions let you imagine the life of these Savoyards. A pleasant visit.

Originality
Despite a city a little too exclusive, this museum pays homage to the life in Val d'Arly. It is necessary to retrace the quite difficult life of the mountain dwellers at the beginning of the last century. Costumes and customs, to see if you are planning Megève.
