LE COMPTOIR DU PÈRE SOTIEU
In the heart of the old village, Didier Socquet Clerc has been using his talents as a pastry chef (for more than 30 years in Megève) and treats the gourmands of the famous "Chocolat de Megève" - a praliné meringue chocolate close to the famous "Glaçon de Megève" -, but also delicacies such as chocadrine (crispy praline and chocolate), macaroons and pastries. We will not miss the speciality created by the pastry chef, the exquisite Mégevan with hazelnuts filled with raspberry, and, of course, Mont-Joly, a shortbread dough topped with almond and blueberry cream. At the counter of this charming boutique chalet, you can marvel at fine, traditional pastries and delicious regional blueberry pies. Jams, teas, homemade chocolates, macaroons and regional products are in the spotlight. This pretty address also has a tea room on the first floor as well as a terrace for sunny days, where it is possible to have lunch with a small restaurant.
