TWEEDLE TEA
It is in the heart of Menthon-Saint-Bernard that Vincent Gauthier and Jenny Steel installed the new Tweedle Tea front - its name is a tribute to Lewis Caroll. In 2012, the young pastry chef and the English chef Jenny, trained in a hotel school, opened their first pastry counter, which in 2016 gave way to a contemporary boutique with trendy decoration. If the place has lost its tranquility - the adjoining room is a little noisy - the welcome is still as friendly and the sweets just as fine: creative flavours and little sugar; remarkable chocolates. This excellent pastry/tea room with snacks at noon and brunch on Sunday morning has been enriched with an ice cream parlour and a local craft area. Moreover, visitors and nostalgic residents can taste some English specialities such as high tea... with a wide choice of quality teas, or the famous Pimms pitcher. Fresh produce, cuisine and refined pastries: a beautiful gourmet address!
