SAINTE-AGATHE CHURCH
Church rebuilt after an earthquake in 1822 in a Sardinian neoclassical style in Rumilly.
This church belongs to the same parish as the beautiful chapel of Notre-Dame-de-l'Aumône, whose choir was built in 1240 near the river Chéran and whose new chapel was built in 1863. With the exception of the bell tower, the sacristy and the chapel of Conzié (1474), it was rebuilt after an earthquake in 1822 in a Sardinian neoclassical style. The chapel, the sacristy and the interior decoration were registered as Historic Monuments in 1926, the church in 2009. An open-air mass and a pilgrimage are organized on thefirst Sunday of May.
