LE COIN DU FEU * * *
At the Corner of the Fire bears its name. At the end of the day, fire vibrates in the fireplace and you feel very well in the living room near the piano that sometimes animates itself in the evening. It has to be recognised that this establishment enjoys an ideal location that allows us both to admire the surrounding mountains from the balcony of our room, but to leave skis to the foot lift that takes us to the great area of Megève-Saint-Gervais. The rooms furnished in the valdotain style do not lack a certain charm to hold us the time of a stay. After a nice day of activities, we find ourselves around a regional and greedy table: Fondues, fondues and famous, but more surprising, malakoff, farcement, Savoyard crust or a reblochon brick accompanied by green salad. More classical, but very successful, fish - almond trout, seabream net, saint of Saint-Jacques and scampis… - and meat - duck magret to cassis berries, rabbit conflict and its oignons sauce (in winter) or calf heads gribiche sauce, chicken to old wine - enjoy the know-how of the chef and family secrets transmitted from generation to generation… Pleasant!
