In Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, discover the Mont d'Arbois observatory at an altitude of 1,840 meters, recognizable by its dome along the Route des Crêtes in summer and near the ski slopes in winter. Initiated by Gérard Morand and Pierre Pasteris, with partial financial support from Baroness Edmond de Rothschild, this observatory offers a privileged setting for astronomy, complete with planetarium.
