LA DILIGENCE
In the heart of the bustle of the town centre, Diligence opens onto a large terrace. For the little bit of history, the brasserie occupies the former mailing station Auberge Du Cheval Blanc. The Favre family, passionate for horses, gave this place another look while maintaining the same theme, at least for the name of the restaurant. It is built in an ancient brasserie style: felt curtains, master paintings, vintage armchairs, chandeliers etc. Conviviality is the order of the day and the cuisine is worth tasting (very delicious) and a success accompanied by an excellent wine collection. On the menu, you have the choice between meat, fish, tartare and Savoyard specialities. Futé tried salmon carpaccio with its gratin and salad: a delicacy! Keep a place for homemade desserts: Venetian tiramisu, crème brûlée with bourbon vanilla or cup of covered with meringue ice cream. It is a real exhibition of know-how. The chef Christophe Favre that offers us his talents at “La Taverne du Postillon”, gourmet restaurant a few steps below, undoubtedly has some for the brasserie. Organisation of oenological feasts, theatre, Russian, jazz, cabaret etc. have been added to the novelties.
