A great place to go for a bit of freshness in the high mountain pastures, floor for hikers towards Cou, Soudine or tRoche-Parnale, this establishment offers all the mountains' charm for a short journey of 45 minutes. The slope is not too steep - don't be scared. You can also go up by other means than on foot: 4x4 is permitted. The delicious specialities of the restaurant of Balme: potatoe fritters, delicious grates, tartiflette or fondue, and homemade pastries will delight you at the end of the struggle. Reservation is highly recommended.
